How did you get involved in boxing: The Long Beach Police Department's Police Athletic League's boxing team. My cousins wanted to join their Karate Class and the program also offered boxing so I joined and the rest in history.

Other sports played: I grew up playing basketball & football. In High School, I ran cross country and before and that I was a serious skateboarder.

What are your goals in and out of the ring: Obtaining degrees in Business Management and Music Composition and Theory, being a great World Champion and successful bussinessman.

Hobbies outside of boxing: My hobbies are making music, writing, volunteering my time at the gym to under privileged youths and being involved in church activities.

What is something interesting about you that most people don't know: One thing most people don't about is that I always wanted to be an underwear model. That is why I work so hard to stay in good shape.

Who is your greatest influence and why: My greatest influences are God, my family and my teammates. These people are the reason that I have held on to my gift and worked hard so that I am able to perform at a level of excellence and put my heart into what I do.

Why did you decide to join the world series of boxing: This is a great oppurtunity to showcase my talent and to be a part of the event that will change the way people view the sport of boxing. It is an honor and privilege to be considered among the World's best athletes and be able perform on a stage where hardwork, dedication, and passion pay off.

Why I Fight: To have things I have not been exposed to...in the memory of my parents...and to inspire the youth of Long Beach and act as a role model to them.

If I could fight any boxer, past or present, I would pick...: Mohammed Ali, Roy Jones Jr. and George Foreman

If I wasn't a boxer I would want to be...: a musician. I love the drums, gospel, hip hop and the piano so I would want to find a way to do them all. I would want to be in a church.

One word that describes me: Great
